Instructor:
Jørgen is a highly qualified and dedicated healthcare professional with extensive expertise acquired through his former role as a Charge Nurse in a high-pressure Accident and Emergency (A&E) environment. Currently serving as a Resuscitation Officer, he occupies a critical and respected position within the resuscitation team, offering advanced support, professional guidance, and comprehensive education in critical care situations. Jørgen is a certified provider of Advanced Life Support (ALS), Immediate Life Support (ILS), and Paediatric Immediate Life Support (PILS), accredited by the Resuscitation Council UK. Furthermore, he has completed the Generic Instructor Course (GIC). His active engagement in cardiac arrest management and emergency response training exemplifies his unwavering commitment to clinical leadership, excellence in resuscitation practices, and the provision of high-quality educational programs.
Dr Shafi Khan
Instructor:
Dr. Shafi Khan is a highly experienced NHS Emergency Medicine Consultant with over 12 years of frontline clinical practice, managing a full spectrum of medical and surgical emergencies on a daily basis. In addition to his extensive clinical expertise, he is an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Instructor and currently serves as the Medical Director for ALS courses, ensuring the highest standards in resuscitation training. He is also EPALS and ATLS Instructor
Dr. Khan also holds a senior leadership role in medical education within his hospital, where he oversees the development and delivery of training for doctors and nurses at all levels. His passion for teaching, combined with real-world emergency experience and educational leadership, makes him a dynamic and engaging instructor for the BLS course.
